The single step

A lot has been written about beginnings, from the Tao Te Ching, to the Old Testament, to Dune. It’s easy to spend a huge amount of time contemplating and getting everything set up just so.

This is the danger. A beginning is defined by what comes after it. So if you don’t get past the beginning, it turns out the beginning ceases to exist.

Don’t make it perfect. Don’t wait for the stars to align.

Just begin.
